Always Crying: Harbhajan Singh cracks Adam Gilchrist over “ No DSR” excuse

Harbhajan Singh is the first Indian to pick a Test hat-trick.

Special Correspondent (Delhi): Adam Gilchrist, the second victim of Harbhajan’s test hat-trick, commented on his video and said there was no DSR system at the time along with sad emoji.

Harbhajan Singh, Indian off-spinner, banged Adam Gilchrist for engaging on his historic hat-trick against Australia in 2001. As he was the first Indian cricketer to pick Test hat-trick, he had engraved his name in cricket legendary.

Ricky Ponting, Adam Gilchrist, and Shane Warne are three victims of Harbhajan’s Test hat-trick. Gil Christ second victim of commented on his hat trick video, and said there was no DSR system at that time and added a sad emoji to his caption. While commenting on a fan’s post on Twitter that had a clip of Harbhajan’s hattrick, Gilchrist remarked.

Harbhajan Singh lambasted Gilchrist not to cry over such things on Twitter. “U think u would have survived for long if not a first ball? Stop crying over these things mate..thought u would talk sense after ur playing days.. but few things never change u r the prime example of that. Always crying.” He added.

When Jasprit Bumrah became the only third Indian cricketer to get a hat trick in the second Test match against West Indies at Sabina Park, Harbhajan’s hat trick memories were reignited. Bumrah got the wickets of Darren Bravo, Shamarh Brooks, and Roston Chase off successive deliveries to achieve the feat.

Harbhajan was the first Indian to pick up a Test hat trick (Vs Australia in Kolkata in 2001) after which Irfan Pathan, left-arm pacer repeated the feat when he took three wickets of consecutive balls against Pakistan in Karachi in 2006. Pathan was the first bowler in history to grab a hat trick in the first over of Test Cricket.
